Elise’s musical passion began and continues through participation in theatrical productions throughout the community and singing in choirs through her school and church. She was also a member and president of her high school’s Best Buddies program and participated in international leadership conferences to help promote equality, growth, and integration for people with disabilities in their school and work environments around the world. Her passion in music therapy began as a Camp Jam volunteer for The Music Therapy Center of California her junior year of high school when she realized music therapy was a career she was determined to pursue.
“I believe that every person deserves equal opportunities to grow emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically. Helping people to accomplish these goals through music is the easiest and most effective way I know! Music therapy has opened up so many doors and dreams for my future that I am beyond excited to pursue.”
