Alexandra grew up in Sacramento, California and completed her Bachelors degree in Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time at Berklee, she gained experience working with populations including early intervention, community centers, and assisted living with seniors. She then went on to complete her internship in hospice care in the Bay Area, California where she began to dive deeper into her music therapy career.

Alexandra has been a guitar player and singer since the age of 7, and has always felt a purpose and inclination to want to help those around her. After 10 years of being involved in school choirs and music events in and outside of school, she started to feel there was a missing piece as a musician. She felt her passion was limited in its ability to extend to others in a way that could provide additional support. This is when she discovered music therapy and the power music can have when used in a clinical setting to help individuals reach their goals.

“Music has always been such a driving force in my life, and being a Music Therapist allows me to help others uniquely tap into their own potential with the power of music.”
