Heath Farmer is a dedicated musician, performer, songwriter, and music educator with over 20 years of experience inspiring students and audiences through the power of music. A San Diego resident from a musical family, Heath began performing at a young age and has built a versatile career across live shows, theatrical productions, and education.
Heath’s performance highlights include gigs at Disneyland, SeaWorld (notably Madagascar Live! and as a Dolphin Show Host), a decade with productions at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and his work as founder, principal songwriter, and singer of the award-winning Coastal Wolves (San Diego Music Award 2024). He tours the country with bands ranging from tributes to Taylor Swift to country and rock bands and currently serves as singer, musical director, and manager for the Wallen Outlaws, a Morgan Wallen tribute band. As a private instructor, he has taught guitar, piano, voice, drums, ukulele, bass, and music theory to students of all ages and abilities, fostering technical skill alongside creativity and personal expression.
At the Music Therapy Center of California and its affiliated Banding Together nonprofit, Heath serves as Music Specialist and Jam Session Coordinator. He designs and leads one-on-one sessions and inclusive group jam sessions for participants with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental needs. Heath and his lovely wife Jessica are excited to have a baby girl and boy, and holding a Master’s degree in Communications Management from USC, he is passionate about using music as a tool for connection, emotional regulation, motor skill development, and building confidence. He is committed to creating welcoming spaces where every individual and family can experience the transformative joy of making music together.
“Throughout my life, I have made music for just about every type of audience imaginable. I’ve learned that regardless of how different we all may seem, music reminds us that we are more alike than we can ever imagine.”
