Michelle is a New Jersey native and has had a love for music from a young age. She began her choral journey at age 5 singing with her church’s choir. Throughout her years as a vocalist, she has sung in regional and state choirs, as well as with her university’s Vocal Accord in Italy (including during mass at the Vatican), and with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Her passion for music stems from her family, who have always encouraged her to explore her creativity. Michelle completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy at Montclair State University and an internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

During her time at Montclair State University, Michelle served on the executive board of the Music Therapy Student Organization for three years and was her university’s music therapy chapter rep for one term. She would often be seen providing guidance and tours to prospective music therapy students and served as a student mentor in her university’s choral program.

During her free time Michelle enjoys facilitating Music Together LLC classes, as she has been a certified instructor since 2016. She also enjoys providing music for children’s birthday parties, roller skating, and spending time with family/friends/loved ones!

While living in New Jersey, Michelle provided music therapy within her own mental health private practice setting. Her clinical experiences include children and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, teens and young adults within a mental health setting, early childhood development, and working with infants, children, teens, and young adults within a pediatric clinical healthcare setting.

“Being a music therapist has provided me with the greatest joy of combining my two passions; helping others and music. I utilize a holistic practice that looks at the ‘whole picture’ and am passionate about meeting a client’s mind, body, and soul needs. It is an honor to utilize music as a tool to help others and provide them space to be their most authentic selves.”
