Seth Morton

Seth did not grow up playing music but started his music journey in high school where he joined choirs, and from there his love of music exploded. Seth then attended Arizona State University where he joined the acapella group. He realized music would always be a part of his life, and Seth started the Music Therapy program at ASU hoping to make a difference in other’s lives.

While in college, he had the opportunity to work in behavioral health settings, private practice, and geriatric facilities. Seth realized his greatest strength was in his ability to connect with his clients, allowing a space for total expression and opportunities for communication.
In their free time, Seth enjoys all kinds of music including musical theater and live concerts. Seth also DJ’s, as music in any genre—especially dance music— is a form of expression and a way to be authentically yourself.

“I love seeing people use music to communicate different ideas about themselves and about their perspective on the world. I’m so excited to see how my journey here at MTC will change me!”
